It was all Surge, baby. Major III top fantasy performers were none other than Surge’s young trio — Pred, Sib, and Mack. The Big 3 were followed up by Simp and Cammy.

Let’s take a look at our top fantasy performers from the Major:

1. Pred

#1. Who else would it be? Mister Major MVP. Pred.

He had a stellar performance in respawn, but distinguished himself in the SnD. Who will forget that 13-1 performance map 5, on Desert Siege SnD, to put away FaZe in winner finals? He led all players in SnD kills this tournament (77), with a whopping 1.48 SnD KD. Pred leads all players in fantasy points for Major III, at 230.08.

Pred fantasy highlights in Major III:

#1 in total fantasy points (230.08)
#1 in SnD fantasy points (117.98)

2. Mack

Coming in at #2 is Mack, the matching pair in Seattle Surge‘s frontline duo. Mack had big play after big play this weekend, coming in clutch time and time again en route to his first win on LAN. Mack had the #10 overall KD among all players this weekend (1.08)*. Mack scored a monstrous 212.26 fantasy points.

Mack fantasy highlights in Major III:

#2 in total fantasy points (212.26)
#3 in HP fantasy points (66.24)
#3 in Control fantasy points (76.23)

*Among players who played two or more series

3. Sib

#3 is the beamer. Sib was locked in this entire tournament, winning gunfight after gunfight. If you had Sib on your team, congrats. You secured yourself a big bag: 196.13 fantasy points.

Everyone knows how much of a threat (#DMDL) he can be on the map. However, let’s take some time to highlight Sib’s improvement in Search. This Major, Sib led all players (3+ SnD maps) in first blood %, at 24.7%. Between Sib and Pred, the pair averaged a staggering 44.2% first blood % in Major III. GP on GD indeed.

Sib fantasy highlights in Major III:

#3 in total fantasy points (196.13)
#4 in HP fantasy points (64.01)

4. Simp

Simp is definitely not a talentless gimp. Cold War’s MVP cracked top 5 in fantasy this tournament, with some big time performances in respawn. Simp scored 189.60 total fantasy points this tournament, landing him #4 overall. He was stellar against LA Thieves, notching a 1.54 KD in winner semis.

Simp fantasy highlights in Major III:

#4 in total fantasy points (189.60)
#2 in HP fantasy points (68.23)
#2 in CTL fantasy points (78.18)

5. Cammy

Let’s get a massive WUNT for the Scottish lad. Cammy stormed through this tournament, racking up a 3rd place finish, a 1.34 SnD KD (#5 among players in Major III), and 91.02 points in SnD. No doubt that Cammy is starting to hit CW form, and was a massive reason for Ultra’s deep run in this tournament.

Cammy fantasy highlights in Major III:

#5 in total fantasy points (183.39)
#2 in Snd fantasy points (91.02)

Major III Fantasy Winner

Congratulations to our winner UG or “UGonTop”. He had the top 3 scoring players, and Standy, a bargain at $4. Nice picks, UG.

Also, special shoutout to our very own Novus (Brandon). Brandon is a cofounder of Breaking Point, and the General Manager of Seattle Surge. He picked 3 out of 4 of his own players from Surge and placed just out of the top 10, at #11 (top 1%). There’s gotta be a rule against that, right!?

Great job Brandon, and shoot him a follow on Twitter.
