The Tactical Recap #5

Welcome to the Tactical Recap. The top 5 Call of Duty League storylines of the week. Don’t have enough time to catch all of TacticalRab’s videos? We’ve got you covered! Put a 🌶️🌶️🌶️ in the comments to let us know you’re reading!

1. ROSTERMANIA IS HERE 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Florida looks to be shifting away from Davpadie and Vivid. According to Crone, possible replacements currently include: Neptune, MajorManiak, and Yeez.

LAG also looks to be bringing Spart back into the line-up. Both of these teams are fighting for a chance to go to champs. Despite winning an event, LAG is currently in 7th with 125 CDL pts. Only 15 points behind them is Florida in 10th (110 CDL pts).

We are also seeing Paris look to make a move, despite basically a 0% chance at making Champs this year. The move would see John being replaced by young SMG oJohnny. This looks to be a roster move in preparation for next year.

2. Old Man Yells At Sky? With all of these roster moves happening, we question whether or not Clay will get another shot this year. His girlfriend mentioned in a tweet that he is being held “hostage” by NYSL.

Clay likely has a high salary that other teams aren’t willing to gamble on. His buyout may also be a factor, and teams may not be willing to take a shot on an AR with a 0.84 KD on the season.

3. When it rains, it pours. In other Clay drama, he reveals on Twitter that Censor’s team requested a monitor cam for oJohnny.

Doug defended his team, saying there was a big gap in Johnny’s performances online vs. on LAN. This led to oJohnny and Doug hashing it out on the timeline.

Doug and Johnny teamed up together earlier in the season. Doug also either gifted or loaned some money to Johnny, then asked for it back after Johnny left the team. Was it a gift or was it a loan? Sour grapes from Doug after Johnny left his team? It’s not Challengers without drama on the blue bird app!

4. Honest day’s work. Another harvest bounty of interactions at Aches Farms this week. This time, Pat called Shotzzy an “onliner.” Currently, Ant has a 1.12 online vs. 1.03 on LAN. Rambo expressed that the team overall has just played worse at Majors vs. online.

5. Would it be The Tactical Recap without OpTic news? Finally, Rambo explained that Prolute wouldn’t be “held hostage” by the organization and that he would be able to go to any team that wants to pick him up. Of course, this will be after the return of iLLeY. Based on Ray’s comments this morning, iLLeY should be back soon. This also raises the question of whether General is the best substitute for OpTic moving forward.
