Coach Karma

One of the greatest players of Call of Duty history joined the Eavesdrop Podcast to discuss his future and the possibility of coaching OpTic Texas in the future. The community has wanted the move to come to fruition since it was teased earlier in the season. With Karma now explaining that the move is of serious interest for him, fans are now excited to see him behind the team. It may not be a question of if anymore, its when 👀

Vegas to Champs?!

The final spot for Champs has been a tightly contested race but its starting to heat up 🌶️ as the Las Vegas Legion have now cut the deficit to just 10 CDL points. The game 5 thriller between the Legion and current 8th seed Minnesota Rokkr was one of the best series of the weekend and crucial for the race for the final spot. With the momentum now behind the Legion and a very difficult final week of qualifiers for the Rokkr, could we see the Legion is Las Vegas?!

LA Thieves fell off?

After winning Major IV in Ohio, the Thieves were back on top and looking to end the year just as they did in Vanguard. Unfortunately they have stumbled in the qualifiers for Major V, going 0-3 in the opening two weeks. With losses to the Florida Mutineers, Toronto Ultra, and New York Subliners there are now legitimate concerns that the Thieves could be starting in the Lower bracket at the final Major. Is this a case of just online struggles or have the Thieves fallen off?

Beans vs Gunless

Following the drama caused by the Boston Breach refusing to not use Sound EQ during a LAN match against the Minnesota Rokkr, things got spicy on the timeline. Rookie Ben “Beans” McMellon got into an unexpected back in fourth with veteran Peirce “Gunless” Hillman first about Sound EQ, which then morphed into personal shots about each other’s careers. Dashy responded by saying that some rookies are not showing respect to veterans and need to change that perspective. Do you agree with Dashy’s thoughts on the topic?

Censor Drops Five

The Challengers Elite returned this week with the final Playoff bracket of the season. Boston Breach Academy just made it into the bracket after going 2-3 in the group stage. After falling 1-3 in the opening match, Doug & Co had their backs against the wall in the Lower Bracket. They’d start off hot against OMiT, taking a 2-0 series lead. But on El Asilo Control, Censor wouldn’t have a fun time as he finished with just 5 kills over 5 rounds of play. We can only hope that Doug learns from this and comes back with a fire at the Challengers LAN in Toronto!
