This week has brought us some spicy stories 🌶️. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

1. Crimsix and Clayster sprouted new beef as they publicly disagreed about what happened within the NYSL team. A classic tale of “he-said-she-said” as the two oldest players in the League had a catfight over social media. Clayster accused Crim of chalking the team by threatening to bench himself rather than play with Neptune. On “The Flank”, Crim accused Clay of sending a picture flipping off HyDra, but Clay brought the receipts…

Qu’est-ce que c’est?

2. In other news, OpTic fans can rest easy after last week’s matches. They went 6-0 in map count, taking dominant victories over LAG and Florida. This came with the addition of Prolute, who has been a terror in SnD, and fit the team to a T. [Rab video HERE]

3. Since the Pro-Am, iLLeY has been out with a hand injury. Rambo had some updates for fans, stating that iLLeY has no serious damage and will be back in the lineup once his thumb is healed. They’re targeting a return for Major 3. Get better soon, Inder. 🙏

4. Speaking of players returning to their teams: we’re seeing another change on the side of LAG. Gunless has undergone a successful surgery and he has made a full recovery. He is replacing Spart to form the original LAG roster. Higher floor with a lower ceiling? Volk merchants? Only time will tell. This roster was finding its groove before he left and hopefully they can find similar success to their Major 2 performance. [Rab video HERE]

5. Finally, what is a week in Vanguard without LA Thieves struggling? Despite a 2nd place finish at the Pro-Am, the team continues to have woeful performances. This time, one player in particular is under the microscope. Kenny‘s long awaited switched to an SMG role hasn’t paid off for the team. He dropped a 0.7 K/D against Minnesota and he was switching between guns through the series. Thieves won’t go far without a turnaround from their franchise player.
