Best CDL TAQ-56 loadouts | MW2 Master Classes

The TAQ-56 is the go-to Assault Rifle for Call of Duty League players currently. Each player is required to use the 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel, but that leaves four other attachments for players to choose from.

The weapon is hard hitting with its high damage output, while being very accurate. Different attachment combinations can improve the recoil or the movement speed, allowing it to match the Vaznev-9k in gunfights.

With 24 players in the CDL playing the AR role, we asked each player which attachments they choose to make their favorite TAQ-56 class setup. Here are the results!

Class #1

The most popular TAQ-56 class for CDL players is known as the “fast class”. It is used by ten players around the League, across seven different teams. This weapon loadout uses the FSS Sharkfin 90 underbarrel and TX Xline Pro Stock to increase the handling speed of the weapon and allow players to be very aggressive on the map. While this build won’t help decrease recoil too much, players will be deadly in medium range gunfights and able to move around the map with pace.

Class #2

The next loadout for the TAQ-56 is used by 7 players in the CDL, including OpTic Texas duo Brandon “Dashy” Otell & Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe. The only difference between the first two weapon builds is the stock. This class uses the TV Cardinal Stock over the TV Xline Pro Stock. This stock gives the weapon a slight boost of +0.3 m/s in ADS Movement Speed, +0.12 m/s in Sprint Speed, and +0.04 m/s Tac Sprint Speed. Overall, it doesn’t help with ADS speed like the XLine Pro does but also doesn’t add recoil like the Xline Pro.

Class #3

The third Master Class on this list is used by Carson “Brack” Newberry, Daunte “Sib” Gray, and Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi. Just like the second Master Class, this build uses the TV Cardinal Stock instead of the TV Xline Stock. The major difference in this build is it prefers the Commando Foregrip instead of the FSS Sharkfin 90. The Commando decreases the vertical and horizontal recoil on the weapon substantially, but at the cost of ADS time. With this build the ADS speed and handling won’t be as good as Master Class #1, but players will enjoy very little recoil.

Class #4

The next class was sparked by a recent Xclusive Ace video, which is linked down below. In the video, he detailed how the High Velocity Ammo attachment is not necessary outside of Warzone 2, unless players are taking extremely long distance fights. With that being said, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson has decided to remove High Velocity in favor of attaching a muzzle. This build takes 4 out of 5 attachments from Master Class #1 and adds the Dark KX30 Muzzle. If the effects of High Velocity are truly not felt in multiplayer, then this would be a great class to try out.

Class #5

Of course the Human Turret would use a different Master Class, this one known by pro players as the “Beam Class”. This build again uses 4 of the 5 attachments from Master Class #1 but with one major difference. Sam “Octane” Larew prefers to remove the stock in favor of adding a muzzle to the weapon. The Komodo Heavy Muzzle decreases the recoil significantly, including a 27% decrease in horizontal recoil. While handling takes a major hit, this class will have any player shooting beams.

Class #6

The final Master Class on this list is used by the New York Subliners duo Cesar “Skyz” Bueno and Preston “Priestahh” Greiner. It is a combination of the first two classes on this list, using the TV Xline Pro Stock and Commando Foregrip. The foregrip decreases the recoil on the weapon, while the rear grip and stock improve handling. This is a class to experiment with to feel out whether you need more handling, more recoil control, or if its just right!
