OpTic Texas, who were expected to stick together, could be in for a two-man change in the upcoming days and are aggressively pursuing free agent player HyDra and restricted free agent Cammy.
Although no deal is complete yet, and can’t be officially signed until Monday, OpTic Texas will also have to negotiate a buyout from Toronto Ultra due to Cammy still being under contract with the franchise, which could make or break the move — Attach is another obvious option for the franchise.
With Cammy and HyDra potentially joining, or at least being looked at by the franchise, today both Dashy and iLLeY announced they were free agents and exploring their options.
Dashy was regarded this season as the second-best player in the league behind Cellium and finished with a 1.20 overall kill/death ratio, 1.28 in Control, and a 1.16 in both Hardpoint and Search and Destroy.
iLLeY on the other hand struggled with a thumb injury throughout the majority of the Vanguard season but is still expected to be a high target for franchises, assuming his injury is fully healed by the 2023 season.
As we reach the mid-way section of rostermania, just a friendly reminder that anything can happen, and anything can change at any given moment.
