Scump retires from Competitive Call of Duty

After announcing prior to the season that he would be retiring after the 2023 season, Scump has made the decision to step down from competing effective immediately. After an illustrious career spanning over 10 years winning over 30 tournaments including X-Games twice and the 2017 world championship. Scump will retire with a legacy of one of the greatest and most consistent players not only in Call of Duty but in Esports as a whole.

In the final match of his career, Scump led the team in the 3-2 victory over the Boston Breach. In his new role, Scump had the highest KD (1.22) in the lobby and led OpTic in damage (10,555).

Scump also announced in his retirement video that Dashy would be returning to the roster in his stead. Making the OpTic Texas lineup Dashy, iLLeY, Huke and Shotzzy.
