Rokkr sweep FaZe 3-0 in dominant showing

The final match of the night saw Atlanta FaZe take on the Minnesota Rokkr. Atlanta was the major betting favorite, having a +400 line on Bet365. This would not be how the series would end up going.

The first map of the series was Fortress Hardpoint. The Rokkr did a great job of flipping the spawns to start and held P2 for 48 points. They would then break into P3, not letting Atlanta get back going on the map. Overall, Minnesota scored 100 points on P2, +74 compared to Atlanta, while not allowing FaZe to get good holds on P3. The Rokkr would clutch up to win 250-246 to take a 1-0 series lead. Bance led the way for Minnesota, going 35-29 (1.21 KD) with 3866 damage and 23 non-traded kills.

Minnesota would not take their foot off the gas in the map 2 Search & Destroy. The Rokkr won the first four rounds of the map to take a commanding 4-0 lead. The key was opening duels. The Rokkr were able to find clean wins, while Atlanta were constantly being traded after winning an opening duel. This led to a major advantage for the Rokkr, and they took it and ran. Minnesota would end up winning 6-3 behind Bance yet again. The veteran went 9-4 (2.25 KD) with 1227 damage and was very effective on the attacking side.

Fortress Control would be the final map of the series. Minnesota was full of confidence and had all of the momentum going into the map. They kept it going, shutting down Atlanta on defense and capturing B on their first attacking round. This got them defense for the final round 5, which is a major advantage on Fortress. Again, the Rokkr slowly ground the FaZe down and would win the map 3-2. Afro had multiple highlight plays, ending 31-19 (1.63 KD) on the map. The two SMG players played fantastic and were able to not let the Tiny Terrors get going in the series.
