The online portion of the 2023 season is nearly over and with only one week remaining, teams will be looking to pick up some crucial points and secure a good seed for Major 5. Let’s see who impressed this past week.

1. Shotzzy

The OpTic Texas squad continues to dominate and Shotzzy remains an impactful and disruptive force on the map. He particularly impressed this week during SnD following up a double digit kill performance against the Seattle Surge with an insane 15/6 showing on Embassy SnD against the Toronto Ultra. Shotzzy led both lobbies in kills whilst averaging out a strong 1.11 KD ratio.

Highlights from Stage 5, Week 2:

#1 Overall fantasy points (191.21)
#1 SnD fantasy points (108)

2. Ghosty

Next up another OpTic player in the impressive rookie DanGhosty. The bounty match demon showed up yet again in their victory vs the Toronto Ultra, dropping a lobby leading 1.25 KD ratio with an insane 5:34 seconds of Hill Time across both Hardpoints. The rookie brings much to OpTic beyond the stats but when he also performs in that department, the Green Wall seems nigh unbeatable.

Highlights from Stage 5, Week 2:

#2 Overall fantasy points (177.12)
#4 HP fantasy points (58.25)
#3 SnD fantasy points (64.35)
#4 CTL fantasy points (54.52)

3. SlasheR

SlasheR after facing heavy criticism for his individual performances during Stage 4 has picked it up since the start of Major 4. He showed up particularly against the Vegas Legion with a lobby leading performance in both KD and damage with a 1.67 KD ratio. One of the biggest changes this Stage has been his increased Hill Time sitting at an average of 107.4 during Stage 5, a massive increase from his previous 57.8 seconds. This puts him second in the league only sitting behind the aforementioned DanGhosty.

Highlights from Stage 5, Week 2:

#3 Overall fantasy points (168.73)
#1 HP fantasy points (69.69)
#4 SnD fantasy points (63.58)

4. aBeZy

Another member of the Atlanta FaZe and this time it’s one of the front runners for MVP, aBeZy. His key highlight from this week was an insane 26/10 performance on Embassy Hardpoint as FaZe put the Royal Ravens into the 100 point club. Atlanta FaZe are almost guaranteed to be in contention in Toronto and they’ll need aBeZy to keep up his MVP level performances if they want to pick up their second victory of the season.

Highlights from Stage 5, Week 2:

#4 Overall fantasy points (157.42)
#2 SnD fantasy points (82.61)

5. Beans

Boston Breach continue to struggle to match their slaying and talent with results as they split victories during Week 2 with the Florida Mutineers and Seattle Surge. During both series Beans impressed leading the lobby in kills and averaged an incredible 1.41 KD ratio over the seven maps. His most impressive moment was during their series against the Seattle Surge where he dropped a 29/13 score line with a 10 kill streak that nearly singlehandedly secured Boston an offensive round.
