Sources: Rokkr in talks with Arcitys

The Minnesota RØKKR are currently in talks to sign Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson in place of Paul "PaulEhx" Avila.

The Rokkr have slumped recently, falling in the season standings to 10th with 90 CDL points. It isn't too late for the Rokkr to right the ship however, as they are just 10 points behind the Miami Heretics for the 8th place position, which is the final qualifying position for Champs at the end of the year.

A change was needed, though, in the camp, as Minnesota finished Top 12 at both Minor II & Major II, while going 3-4 during the Major II Qualifiers. This was a stark contrast to their Stage I performance, where they finished Top 4 in the Minor & Top 6 at Major I.

Most of the starting roster had inconsistent moments, but PaulEhx struggled individually the most over the entire season. After a lackluster Stage I, Paul had a 0.85 K/D in Stage II with K/D splits of 0.83 in Hardpoint, 0.90 in SND, and 0.88 in Control. It became clear as the stage went along that a change was needed in the roster to provide a spark.

Needing a leader to help steady the consistency of the young core, Minnesota turned to Arcitys to fill that position. The former World Champion with Atlanta FaZe, Arcitys has recently won the Challengers Finals at the end of Modern Warfare III & the Dallas Open last weekend. It'll be his fifth team in the CDL, previously playing for Chicago Huntsmen, FaZe, LA Guerrillas, and Seattle Surge.

The Minnesota RØKKR roster will now consist of:
