Sources: FaZe Joins CDL Rebrand Movement, Plans Vegas Relocation

We may be witnessing the end of an era in the Call of Duty League, as it now appears likely that all of the original founding teams will undergo rebrands ahead of the upcoming season.

According to sources, Atlanta FaZe has been engaged in discussions about a rebrand, working alongside the CDL to determine if a switch to Vegas is possible & when to roll out the announcement. This comes on the heels of the Vegas Falcons completing their own transformation into the Riyadh Falcons, leaving an open franchise slot in Las Vegas.

From what we understand, FaZe is the frontrunner to take over that spot if a move presents itself. While the roster itself is relocating to Texas this season, the organization’s official home base is expected to be Vegas, barring any last-minute complications. It’s worth noting that in previous offseasons, similar moves have occasionally stalled due to looming deadlines & that ownership has direct ties to the Las Vegas region.

If finalized, this move could present an exciting opportunity for the CDL, potentially paving the way for a FaZe-hosted event in Las Vegas. This prospect would undoubtedly generate buzz among fans.
