The Tissue was an issue yet again for opposing CDL teams in Modern Warfare 3. The entry SMG finished the year with 1.04 KD & 82.8 Slayer Rating while helping the Ultra win Major I. Tobi also currently holds records in all three game modes. In Hardpoint, CleanX has the record for most Kills (46) and Damage (7,666) in a Map. Then in SND, CleanX has two of the top 3 KDs in a Map at 11.00 & 8.00, both against Seattle. Finally, in Control, the highest KD in a Map goes to CleanX at 6.00 against Miami.
Paco was a consistent slayer throughout the season, leading the Subliners to a Major IV victory. He set the records for longest Control Killstreak at 14 & most kills in a 4-map series at 115, while leading the CDL with most 30+ Kill games at 42. HyDra was one of four players (Simp, aBeZy, Shotzzy) to be positive in all three modes. He led the League with an 89.4 Slayer Rating & led SMGs with a 1.15 respawn KD.
The Cold War MVP has returned. Simp was a force on Atlanta FaZe this season, leading the team to a Major II victory and a 37-8 series record on the year. He was the only SMG player to have a 1.10 KD or better in every mode, with a high of 1.20 in SND. The Tiny Terror tied Cellium in the Cellium Index, going positive in 91% of his series while only going negative just 4 times over the 45 series played. His Grand Finals KDs go 1.21 at Major I, 1.29 at Major II, and 1.11 at Major IV.
Rounding out the nominee list is OpTic Texas’ star SMG Shotzzy. Shotzzy led the team to a Major III victory, finishing the Major with a 1.11 KD and 90.7 Slayer Rating. Overall, he was one of four SMG players (Simp, aBeZy, HyDra) to be positive in all three modes. Shotzzy had 7 series with over 100 kills, tying Simp for the second most 100+ kill series (HyDra 1st with 9).
