Variety & Nostalgia: The mix of new maps and remakes ensures both fresh maps that could break into the competitive map pool and a nod to fan favorites. Players who loved BO2 will look forward to revisiting some of the best maps from the past in Raid, Hijacked, and Express.
Beta Maps: Some of the newly introduced maps are tagged as “(Beta)”, meaning they may undergo changes based on early player feedback.
Competitive Implications: With 16 core 6v6 maps, competitive modes will have plenty of variety. Remakes may see meta shaping around memory and prior experience, while new maps will force teams to adapt.
