How to unlock the Skewer the Winged Beast achievement in Black Ops 6
Achievement & Trophy hunting is back for Call of Duty. With Black Ops 6 releasing for free on the game pass, hunting for achievements is back on the menu.
There are 44 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, four of which are secret. In this article, we'll be breaking down how to unlock the 'Skewer the Winged Beast' achievement.
This achievement can be completed in the ninth mission 'Under The Radar'. It requires players to have the SAM target itself and the helicopter. Here is how to easily take down guards to unlock the 'Skewer the Winged Beast' achievement.
Under The Radar
In the mission 'Under the Radar', you are behind enemy lines and must sabotage a Radar Tower, SAM air defense, and a Helicopter. There are multiple ways to achieve this, but if you have the SAM target itself and the helicopter, then you'll earn the 'Skewer the Winged Beast' achievement. Here is the easiest way to take out all three targets.
To start, head over to the Radar Dish to have 'A Nice Chat' with the guard manning the radar. Once you use the clues in the room to convince the guard that Sargent Whitman wants to run a clutter simulation, you'll be able to take down the Radar Dish in the future.
After the conversation is complete, head to the SAM Site for the 'Warhead Swap'. Enter the guard building and take out the guard at the computer to hack into the computer. It will prompt you to enter two codes:
ORION
TARGET
The computer will then give the option to '[HACK] Target SAM Site to itself and the Helicopter'. Once that option is selected, you'll have to enter two more codes:
ICARUS
CODE
Now that the hack is complete, the mission will lead you to hack into the security cameras. Complete this task to trigger a cutscene with Marshall & Co. entering a helicopter. Sev will radio over to the guard at the SAM Site to start the clutter simulation, effectively taking it out for the helicopter to approach.
After fighting your way to the enemy compound, you'll see the attack helicopter take off. Once it approaches, the SAM Site will launch two missiles that will take out the helicopter and the SAM Site itself. This will unlock the 'Skewer the Winged Beast' achievement and earn you 15 gamerscore. Good luck and have fun achievement hunting!
