How to unlock the Seek & Destroy achievement in Black Ops 6

Achievement & Trophy hunting is back for Call of Duty. With Black Ops 6 releasing for free on the game pass, hunting for achievements is back on the menu.

There are 44 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, four of which are secret. In this article, we'll be breaking down how to unlock the 'Seek & Destroy' achievement.

This achievement can be completed at any time, but it is easiest in the mission 'Checkmate'. It requires players to get 2 Kills with a single remote-controlled Throwing Knife from at least 50 meters away in Campaign. Here is how to easily take down two enemies to unlock the 'Seek & Destroy' achievement, while also completing the 'Rapid Reflexes' & 'David vs Goliath' achievements at the same time!

Checkmate: Seek & Destroy

Start the 'Checkmate' mission on recruit difficulty. This will make it very easy to unlock the achievement, as there are two remote-controlled Throwing Knives within the safe house at the start.

To start, make sure you have the remote-controlled Throwing Knife equipped. To do so, hold down Up on the D-Pad to bring up the equipment menu.

Once you have the throwing knife equipped, head outside to start the mission. The first wave of enemies will come from both the top of the road and to the left. While there are three riot shield enemies, there are plenty of targets to pick from.

Use the throwing knife by hitting RB or R1, but hold down the button until the knife turns green to control it. Stand near the safe house and let the enemies come down a bit so that they are 50 meters away. Once your knife gets into a large group of enemies, either hit the detonate button or wait for the knife to explode.

If you can't get 2 kills or the distance wasn't enough, you can wait for the next wave coming from the left lane. Beware that some of those enemies have higher health, which makes the task harder. Players can always revert to the last checkpoint to try again as well.

Once you get 2 kills from 50 meters away while using the remote-controlled Throwing Knife, you'll unlock the 'Seek & Destroy' achievement and earn 15 gamerscore. Good luck and have fun achievement hunting!
