After competing for the LA Guerrillas and Minnesota Rokkr during Modern Warfare 3, Conor “Diamondcon” Johst has announced that he is an unrestricted free agent.

The 24-year-old competed in his second stint in the Call of Duty League, previously playing for the New York Subliners during the Cold War season. After a strong showing in Challengers, the LA Guerrillas signed him going into the 2024 season.

Individually, Diamondcon finished the year with a 0.99 overall KD, adding a 77.4 Slayer Rating and 71.2% non-traded kill percentage. While he played very well in Hardpoint, his best mode was Search & Destroy. The Main AR had a 1.03 KD in the mode with 0.75 kills per round, a 55.8% opening duel win rate, and 11 clutches won.

The team struggled online during the course of the entire year but played substantially better in LAN matches. The Guerrillas finished Top 6 at Majors 1 & 2 to start the season while ending the regular season with a 3rd place finish at Major 4. While they’d qualify for Champs, they could not gain any momentum and would ultimately finish Top 8.

With the LA Guerrillas not accepting an invite to the Esports World Cup, Diamondcon joined the Minnesota Rokkr for the event. Playing under the G2 tag, the team struggled badly and finished Top 16 at the event.

While the season was a roaster coaster ride, Diamondcon flashed potential and showcased his SND capabilities.
