Brandon "Dashy" Otell capped off a statement tournament with a well-deserved MVP as OpTic Texas edged out LA Thieves 4-3 in an instant‑classic Grand Final to win Major IV. Across all five series of the event, he was the constant for OpTic, opening with a 1.03 K/D and 70 kills in their 3-1 win over Boston before ramping up into a 1.48 K/D, 74-50 performance versus Minnesota that set the tone for their winners’ bracket push.

Even in the 0-3 loss to LA Thieves, Dashy still posted 47 kills and a 0.80 K/D, then bounced back dominantly with a 1.19 K/D and 69-58 stat line in the elimination final against M8, highlighted by a 1.40 SND K/D that stabilized OpTic in the mode. In the Grand Final rematch with LA, he delivered when it mattered most, dropping 128 kills with a 1.20 overall K/D, 1.27 in Hardpoint, and 1.25 in SND, finishing the event with elite slaying and impact across every game type. Put together, Dashy’s tournament, five series of star‑level production, clutch SNDs, and sustained pressure from the AR spot, made him the clear choice for Major IV MVP and the centerpiece of OpTic Texas’s championship run.
