The roster's future was uncertain after a rocky Modern Warfare 3 season. After winning the season's opening major, the team failed to bring any more trophies to Toronto. The team would only reach one more Grand Finals, during Major 3, ending the year with a Top 8 finish at the Esports World Cup. The result was that each starting roster player was tentatively restricted free agents, with Insight even announcing after the conclusion of EWC.

After weeks of uncertainty, the Ultra sold Thomas “Scrap” Ernst & Dylan “Envoy” Hannon to the LA Thieves. The move helped create the Thieves superteam while confirming that the Ultra is rebuilding its franchise. With the course set, Toronto had to focus on bringing back cornerstone pieces in CleanX & Insight. With the duo back into the fold, the team can now sign complementary pieces to the roster and look to bounce back in 2025.

The Toronto Ultra now consists of:

- CleanX
- Insight
- JoeDecieves [Rumored]
- Beans [Rumored]
- Flux [Head Coach]
- Joe [Assisent Coach, unknown if returning]
