What's going on at one of the CDL's biggest teams?

The LA Guerrillas franchise spot was acquired by the French organization Gentlemates this offseason. The franchise name was temporarily changed to LA Guerrillas M8 and everything looked on the up for the team. They acquired the core Modern Warfare II World Championship roster, pairing them with young French gun Thomas "Lynz" Gregorio, who was seen to be the face of the team.

Things have not gone as hoped for the franchise with arguably the biggest fanbase the CDL has seen, with the team having only picked up four series wins so far this season. Superstar streamer Gotaga is co-owner of the team and has openly shown his disappointment in the team's performances so far on stream. This has resulted in multiple roster changes already this season, with world champ Ceser "Skyz" Bueno being benched and Preston "Priestahh" Greiner going in & out of the lineup. Rookie Noah "Lunarz" Whillock was signed, but the performances have failed to improve.

Sources have said that not everyone around the team wanted this exact change, with some in the camp believing that there may be deeper issues within the team that need to be addressed in order to turn their season around. It remains to be seen if the team can overcome these challenges and make a comeback in the remainder of the season. The decisions have been taken out of their hands, with higher-ups from the organization starting to step in. Sources have also implied not everyone was informed that the team had agreed to let Skyz join OpTic Texas before it was too late.

With Gotaga implying on stream that French star Lynz is undroppable and the team's face, the team appears to be in a position where they are unable to make any significant improvements.

Sources understand the team is also in talks about adding former French player Wailers as a coach to help boost their performance and morale.
