Call of Duty League’s Gentlemen’s Agreements for Black Ops 6

In the world of Black Ops 6 competitive play, the official ruleset isn’t the only thing shaping the meta—Gentlemen’s Agreements (GAs) also play a major role.

These unofficial bans, decided by the pros, restrict certain weapons, attachments, and tactics deemed too powerful or unbalanced for competitive integrity. As the game evolves, so do the GAs, with players continuously adjusting what is and isn’t allowed. In this article, we’ll break down the current Gentlemen’s Agreements in place and how they’re shaping the Black Ops 6 competitive scene.

In-Game Actions

○ No Snaking
○ No Stair Glitching
○ Single Tap Run (Allowed since Major 1)
○ Singe Tap Sprint (Allowed since Major 1)
○ No Auto Tac Sprint
○ No Loudness Equalizer

Assault Rifles (ARs)

○ Only AMES and GPR91 Allowed
○ All Barrels but the CHF Barrel are allowed

Sub-Machine Guns (SMGs)

○ Only Jackal Allowed
○ No Muzzle Allowed
○ Only Gain Twist Barrel Allowed
○ Only Recoil springs & Overpressured Fire Mods allowed

Snipers

○ All snipers are RESTRICTED

Pistols

○ Stryder is allowed Pistol with Sight, Fast Mag 2, any Rear Grip attachment

Equipment

○ Smokes are NOT allowed in all modes
○ 2 Trophy System per team allowed in all modes

Wildcards

○ The Gunfighter Wildcard is Allowed but all Magazines and Lasers are restricted

Killstreaks

○ Only Hellstorm allowed in Hardpoint
○ RCXD, Hellstorm allowed in SND
