Major iI has come and gone, shaking up the Call of Duty League landscape and redefining the pecking order heading into the next stage.

Some teams proved that their status as top contenders is legitimate, while others faltered under pressure, leaving questions about their future form. With another thrilling tournament in the books, it’s time to reassess where every team stands. Who’s rising, who’s falling, and who currently sits at the top? Let’s dive into the post-Major II Power Rankings.

How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and content team at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 12 teams — putting more weight on recency instead of the entire season. Since there have only been two weeks of play, the team was assigned to rank the teams going into the Minor. Each ranks the teams 1st through 12th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, as seen below:

1st – 12 points
2nd – 11 points
3rd – 10 points
4th – 9 points
5th – 8 points
6th – 7 points
7th – 6 points
8th – 5 points
9th – 4 points
10th – 3 points
11th – 2 point
12th – 1 points

The Breaking Point Power Ranking

Previous Ranking: March 28th, 2025 - Going into Major

1st: Atlanta FaZe

Voting: 12.0 Avg Points, S Tier
22-5 Record (81%), 74-37 Map Count (67%), 330 CDL points (1st Seed)
Roster: aBeZy - Cellium - Drazah - Simp
Previous Ranking: 2nd (Up 1 Spot)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 6:00 pm EST vs Toronto Ultra

Major II & What's Next: The winners of Major II, Atlanta FaZe, continue to look dominant while the rest of the League set their targets on taking them down next stage. Their SND form that looked down all Major II Qualifiers, locked right back into place at LAN, as they finished a perfect 5-0 in the mode. Their best asset is a deep map pool, so it'll be interesting to see how the loss of Skyline (4-2) & Vault (6-3) has on the team while having Hacienda (0-2) still in play.

2nd: Los Angeles Thieves

Voting: 10.7 Avg Points, A Tier
21-7 Record (75%), 75-37 Map Count (67%), 270 CDL points (2nd Seed)
Roster: Envoy - Ghosty - HyDra - Scrap
Previous Ranking: 1st (Down 1 Spot)

Next Match: Sunday - April 6th at 6:00 pm EST vs Vancouver Surge

Major II & What's Next: The Major was a failure in the eyes of the Thieves. A Top 4 placing while losing 1-3 to Boston & 0-3 to Toronto in the same tournament is not a run that LA will be proud of after having one of the best qualifier stages of the CDL era. They'll regroup going into Stage III, as the team has too much talent & is well-rounded in all three modes.

3rd: Vancouver Surge

Voting: 10.3 Avg Points, A- Tier
15-11 Record (58%), 58-53 Map Count (52%), 185 CDL points (5th Seed)
Roster: O4 - abuzah - Nastie - Neptune
Previous Ranking: 4th (Up 1 Spot)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 3:00 pm EST vs Vegas Falcons

Major II & What's Next: While the players will be disappointed, Major II proved that this team isn't just a fluke or online team. They are a legitimate contender in the COD League moving forward, but will have to focus on SND next stage. While they were 6-1 in Hardpoint before the Finals (Lost both to FaZe in the Finals), the squad lost 4 straight SNDs in the end. They were never a great Control team, so getting both Hardpoint & SND at a consistent level is key.

4th: Toronto Ultra

Voting: 9.0 Avg Points, B+ Tier
17-9 Record (65%), 57-41 Map Count (58%), 210 CDL points (3rd Seed)
Roster: Beans - CleanX - Insight - JoeDeceives
Previous Ranking: 5th (Up 1 Spot)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 6:00 pm EST vs Atlanta FaZe

Major II & What's Next: Success isn't instant in the CDL, the Toronto Ultra is the best example of that. After continuously building their roster year after year with foundational pieces, the Ultra have done it yet again. Behind a terrific performance by Joseph "JoeDeceives" Romero, the Ultra finished 3rd at the Major & had multiple signature wins. Their SND can compete with the best, making them a dark horse for every tournament. If the squad can stay consistent in respawns, they'll stay as a Top 4 team for the remainder of the year.

5th: Carolina Royal Ravens

Voting: 7.7 Avg Points, B- Tier
17-10 Record (63%), 58-45 Map Count (56%), 190 CDL points (4th Seed)
Roster: Gwinn - SlasheR - TJHaly - Vivid (Rumored to be potentially changing roster)
Previous Ranking: 3rd (Down 2 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - April 3rd at 4:30 pm EST vs LA Guerrillas M8

Major II & What's Next: The Royal Ravens have enjoyed being a Top 4 team for the majority of the season, but hit a serious road block at the Major. They finished Top 8 with losses to Vancouver and LAT, both of whom are Top 3 teams. On paper, the losses aren't bad, but to lose 0-3 in both matches is rather concerning. Rumors have been swirling around a potential roster change going into Stage III, but the goal should be finding better consistency & raising the floor against the best teams over the next month.

6th: Cloud9 New York

Voting: 7.3 Avg Points, B- Tier
9-14 Record (39%), 43-47 Map Count (48%), 95 CDL points (9th Seed)
Roster: Attach - Kremp - Mack - Sib
Previous Ranking: 6th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Saturday - April 3rd at 6:00 pm EST vs OpTic Texas

Major II & What's Next: Much like Carolina, New York had a rough Major after losses against the Top 2 teams in the League. Cloud9 fell to Atlanta 1-3, before losing to LAT 0-3 to finish Top 6. The squad did find a 3-0 sweep over Toronto on the opening Thursday matches, which earned them 30 CDL points. Heading into Stage III, the story for C9 is Hardpoint. After going 8-10 in Stage II and 1-4 in their last 5 maps, it will be key to see if New York can take the next step up the ladder.

7th: Boston Breach

Voting: 6.0 Avg Points, C Tier
9-12 Record (43%), 39-50 Map Count (44%), 110 CDL points (7th Seed)
Roster: Cammy - Owakening - Purj - Snoopy
Previous Ranking: 9th (Up 2 Spots)

Next Match: Saturday - April 3rd at 7:30 pm EST vs Toronto Ultra

Major II & What's Next: Even though the Breach only finished Top 6 at the Major, the team had some highlights to go along with the placement. Starting off the tournament with a 3-1 win over LA Thieves was a great success and earned the team a crucial 30 CDL points. While they fell to both Vancouver & Toronto, the Breach competed hard. They are a sneakily good Hardpoint team, but the squad must get better in Control in Stage III if Boston wishes to be better than just a Top 8 team.

8th: OpTic Texas

Voting: 4.3 Avg Points, D Tier
12-12 Record (50%), 43-49 Map Count (47%), 110 CDL points (6th Seed)
Roster: Dashy - Skyz - Huke - Shotzzy
Previous Ranking: 10th (Up 2 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 4:30 pm EST vs Minnesota Rokkr

Major II & What's Next: Texas had one of the worst qualifiers of their franchise's history, rivaling the Stage IV qualifier last season. This sparked Cesar "Skyz" Bueno being thrust into the roster for Kenneth "Kenny" Williams. Starting in the Lower Bracket, OpTic knocked off Minnesota 3-0 before falling to Ultra 0-3 for the third straight time. With yet another roster move, it's time for OpTic to reset and start the season fresh this next stage.

9th: Miami Heretics

Voting: 4.0 Avg Points, D Tier
7-15 Record (32%), 39-52 Map Count (43%), 100 CDL points (8th Seed)
Roster: SupeR - MettalZ - ReeaL - RenKoR
Previous Ranking: 8th (Down 1 Spot)

Next Match: Saturday - April 3rd at 3:00 pm EST vs Vegas Falcons

Major II & What's Next: Miami is a very difficult team to talk about. They went 3-2 at Major I, finishing 3rd in front of the home crowd. Outside of that tournament, the Spaniards are 4-13 in series and just finished Top 12 at Major II. The move to swap Alejandro "Lucky" López for Diego "SupeR" Escudero should help the team. The key for the squad will be improving both SND (3-7 in Stage II) and Control (2-7 in Stage II). If they can find some consistency in one of those modes, then Miami can hold down a Top 8 spot in the season standings.

10th: Minnesota RØKKR

Voting: 3.7 Avg Points, D Tier
9-14 Record (39%), 42-53 Map Count (44%), 90 CDL points (10th Seed)
Roster: Estreal - Gio - Nero - PaulEhx (Rumored to be potentially changing roster)
Previous Ranking: 7th (Down 3 Spots)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 4:30 pm EST vs OpTic Texas

Major II & What's Next: For many, the Rokkr are one of the most frustrating teams to be a fan of in Black Ops 6. There is clearly talent on the roster, but the issue has always been consistency. This was front and center at the Major, as Minnesota got swept by both Texas & Atlanta to finish Top 12. With multiple possible roster moves being discussed around the franchise, they are in need of a leader to raise the floor of the team. If they can succeed in that task, then they'll surely compete for a Top 8 seed this stage.

11th: Los Angeles Guerrillas M8

Voting: 2.0 Avg Points, F Tier
4-15 Record (21%), 28-47 Map Count (37%), 30 CDL points (11th Seed)
Roster: KiSMET - Lynz - Priestahh - Lunarz (Rumored to be adding oJohnny)
Previous Ranking: 11th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Saturday - April 3rd at 4:30 pm EST vs Carolina Royal Ravens

Major II & What's Next: Another frustrating team, M8s has continued to disappoint this season. After finishing Top 12 at Major I, they followed that up with another Top 12 at Major II. They are 4-15 in series on the year, while two of those wins are against the Falcons. There have been rumors of multiple changes coming to the roster, so the goal in Stage III needs to be just finding talent that allows them to compete.

12th: Vegas Falcons

Voting: 1.0 Avg Points, F Tier
0-18 Record (0%), 9-54 Map Count (14%), 0 CDL points (12th Seed)
Roster: D7oomx - Exnid - KiinG - WXSL (Rumored to be potentially changing roster)
Previous Ranking: 12th (Unchanged)

Next Match: Friday - April 4th at 3:00 pm EST vs Vancouver Surge

Major II & What's Next: Vegas Falcons have officially finished Top 12 at every single Minor & Major this season, going 0-18 in series in the process. The team has been heavily rumored to be changing most of the roster, keeping only Saud "Exnid" Alotai. While getting into Champs seems like a lost goal, finding a roster to compete at the Esports World Cup is not lost. They'll be trying to build a roster that can compete for victory there, so expect the rest of the season to be an experiment for that run.
