The meta is starting to form for competitive play in Modern Warfare 3, but still, different weapons and attachments are being trialed. Currently, the main SMG that is being used is the Rival-9. It outperforms the other weapons in the category and is very good in short-distance engagements. While the CDL players have been using one weapon build mostly, there are still some variations.
