With Stage IV in full swing and just three tournaments left on the calendar, the Call of Duty hierarchy has never felt clearer at the very top, or more chaotic everywhere else. LA Thieves have ripped off three straight titles between Major III and Minors I & II, establishing themselves as the undisputed benchmark the rest of the league is desperately trying to catch. OpTic Texas remains firmly planted as the second-best team in the game & can go toe-to-toe with LA, but with a noticeable gap between them and a crowded pack of hopefuls still searching for consistency and a true breakthrough.
Even with that one-two punch seemingly locked in, the battle beneath them is anything but settled. A handful of teams are trading blows week to week, stringing together promising series before stumbling, while new rosters and late-season form swings keep reshaping expectations heading into every LAN. With only a few shots left to build momentum, lock in the Champs seeding, and prove they can actually topple LA when it matters, now is the perfect time to reassess the landscape. How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and Dope Check talent at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 12 teams after the Major I Qualifiers. Each ranks the teams 1st through 12th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, as seen below:
