NYSL release Neptune
Today, New York Subliners announced the release of substitute player Neptune. NYSL bought out Neptune from the Florida Mutineers in the previous off-season. Neptune struggled to find his identity on NYSL, coming in and out of the lineup multiple times. The young SMG player did not mesh well or look comfortable during his time with the team and his stats suffered for it. He had the worst KD in the league during Stage 1 at a 0.76 KD. While he improved to a 1.00 KD during Stage 2, the team did not see any success at Major 2 and they decided a change was needed, bringing in Kismet from Challengers.
Neptune will continue to play in Challengers teaming with Brack, 2ReaL and benched Minnesota RĆKKR AR player MajorManiak for the NA Stage 3 Elite. They currently stand in 2nd place with a 3-1 record and an 11-7 map count.
