Fame to Minnesota RØKKR

Minnesota RØKKR have announced Fame as a substitute player for the team.

Fame is a notable CCL standout, playing for Northwood (’22) and Ottawa University (’21). Most recently, he placed 2nd at the CDC Boston Open with Pentagrxm, GodRX, and Pandur. He also won the College CoD (CCL) 2022 playoffs and the NACE Starleague playoffs with Northwood.

The move makes sense for RØKKR. Fame, a fast SMG player, is a rare commodity in today’s CDL economy. At 145 points and sitting in 9th place going into this weekend, RØKKR must pass at least one team ahead of them and hope for some luck in order to make Champs. The move signals a tone shift from the organization towards planning for next season, and MW2. Depending on the outcome of Major IV, he may even start for the team this season.
